A Brief Introduction to CSR Times.
CSR Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Research Institute Co., LTD (CSR Times for short) serves as a high-tech corporate unity in rail traffic and renewable energy and new material . It has two listed companies, namely Zhuzhou Times Electric. Co. , Ltd. and Zhuzhou Times New Material Technology Co., Ltd. It primarily engages in research, development and manufacturing of electric devices for rail traffic, large-scale wind energy converters, power electronics devices, motors, sensors and rubber elastic damping components.

As the best competitive company on technologies in rail traffic electric drive field in China, ever since the " Tenth Five-year ", CSR relies on its own core technologies, and has started to implement the " centralized but diversified" strategy of extending its core technology to strongly related booming industries, for example utilizing the nearly 50 years experience gained from the rail traffic field to the wind energy converter manufacturing field. In 2006, CSR Times introduced technology of internationally advanced 1.65MW variable speed constant frequency wind energy converter from Europe.
On Nov. 10, 2007, the prototype was set up in Jianghua county, Hunan province.
On Nov. 21, 2007, the prototype was successfully connected to the grid and started power generation with a good operation status.
CSR Times has a 3MW wind energy converter on ground full power test platform and yearly production capacity of 200 sets of megawatt-scale wind energy converters. CSR Times can provide customers with high-quality, reliable wind energy converters and fast, professional and efficient services.
